One of the things about Darin people may not know is that he was an extremely intelligent man. I believe his IQ was near-genius and he graduated from the best public high school in the Bronx, the Bronx High School of Science. And his intelligence really comes through in his music.

I love this song. If the Monkees made one song that was truly theirs, it was this one. It's so hip. It never gets old.

@auntbecky They needed other people to form them, write their songs, and play their instruments. I don't call that a real band. I will give them credit for having excellent voices. I heard Mickey Dolenz recently and he was incredible. His voice is almost operatic.
