@theamazingsoter This is not necessarily true. Lopatkina and Tereshkina maintain their teenaged bodies throughout their adult careers. On the other hand, to say that Somova became womanly is an overstatement. Physically she hasn't changed much, it is her dancing that became more mature.

If P.Semionova had a sober look at her performance of Esmeralda variation, I believe she would have been embarrassed. Harsh as it sounds, it is indeed vulgar. But then again, it was few years back. She has improved a lot.

Novikova’s interpretation of the Mad scene is trifle too literal for my taste. Her luminous beauty, however, has almost therapeutic effect. Sarafanov is one lucky dude :)
