I think food is the best part of life. Seriously. To me, it's an amazing thing to be able to see it, feel it, smell it and finally...taste it! I love to stroll the farmer's market and look at what's available to buy that day- and see what sparks an idea of a meal or dish. It's safe to say that if I'm not cooking or eating, I'm thinking about what I'm going to cook or eat next!
Though I consider myself many things (among them: an athlete, a graphic designer, an entrepreneur)...I am happiest and most at peace with myself when I am in the kitchen. I'm sure many of my friends and colleagues would be surprised to hear that I don't feel that way about working out- in a gym or out for a run. In reality, while I love to exercise and feel fit, I wake up in the morning excited to cook. I think that's how any person can know what it is they are most passionate about.
Food is a common bond we all share as human beings. To be able to share my passion delicious food with others and to know that I'm helping them to maintain a healthy lifestyle by doing so is pure joy. Thanks for letting me share that with you.
Eat, move and be well.
