@bacsi19461 Nope, never got a ticket of any kind in my life. I was pretty careful and there were no police roadblocks and stuff like that back then.

@tommieparch Wow Tommie, did you miss the mark on this comment. One can appreciate fellow soldiers, marines. etc. without glorifying war. We were 19-20 years old and did what we were sent to do. Remember, there was a draft back then. One can also fight in a war and still appreciate great song...

Love this great song. An observation tho. I was a pretty decent looking guy in my younger years, good build and a good job. I dated some really gorgeous women and I found that the hotter they are, the more they are messed up in the head. Most are insecure and have trouble handling their beauty....

In my opinion, this is the best song, video, and performance by a female singer since Patsy Cline. The lyrics are just incredible, her voice is crystal clear, and she is wonderful in the video, not to mention beautiful. I have this album and treasure it.

This was from a time when you actually had to be able to sing to succeed. Now it is jut don't shave for a day or two, cut knees from your jeans and cut records that suck.
