Guys as Mr J says don't open them and if u have an urge to then make sure you don't touch the circuit boards, altho no power is goin go the unit the capacitors still hold charge some even up to 2000+ volts,the ampage might not kill you but it will hurt and it might not be to healthy.

XLR and DMX are similar thye both work in lighting how ever you xlr are made to work with millivolts and milliwatts.
