Jack was born in southern California to Mississippi natives, He resides in Tennessee and is a Civil War battlefield preservation activist, eclectic writer and part time website developer.
An avid collector and picker of curious and rare collectibles, he is a collector of everything from blob top bottles, antique firearms, books and American Civil War relics. He also restores and collects classic Volkswagen Beetles. A mold and model maker, Taylor is involved in white metal casting and sculpture as a pewter smith. He is active in amateur rocket building and particularly high powered APCP as a rocket propellant.
An extensive traveler, Taylor has lived everywhere from Southern California on the west coast to the Washington, D.C. / Northern Virginia area. While he was studying Journalism as his major in College, he found himself studying anthropology as a minor and has published articles on different perspectives on numerous cultures. Taylor holds a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Journalism graduating Magna Cum Laude from Tennessee Technological University.
