this is a extremely underrated movie...........you can hit freeze - frame at any point and see a beautiful image.............never has violence looked so pretty !

it is amazing how boorman could dirty up scenes with mud and blood and it still looks classy........

no purple shellsuits or baseball caps .....bliss !

however the roads are just as bad and in fact they are worse now......
