A musical dairy
Berry van Berkum and Dirk Luijmes started a project around Bach's WTC. They will play the next years all preludes and fugues on different instruments a.o. case organs, church organ (quatre mains), harpsichord, piano and harmonium. They combine Bachs "Old Testament for keyboard players" with other composers, who wrote books with pieces in all 24 keys.
Apart from this project on the world wide web, they give concerts with a mix of the works from Bach, Vierne, Langlais and others.
Work in progress
Every month they try to upload new recordings on the channel. As you can see we are not using video's but just well known pictures on our site.
You can consider this site as a work in progress. Berry and Dirk are making the recordings themselves semi-live at home or in their churches, experimenting with instruments, pieces, tuning, tempo's and recording techniques. Feel free to give your comments.
