I also give Andre Dirrelll no chance against Ward, i think Dirrell's faster but he's got a poor inside game + does'nt handle pressure well at all, these are all attributes Ward has in spades. I think a Dirrell Bute fight would be quite an interesting bout but no matter what Bute should earn his right to take on Ward + not get a free pass even tho i see Ward bulling Bute up against the ropes + beating him like a drum. On a side note i hope we have more tournaments so the fans know who's the No1 guy at each weight + we can then ignore the various spaggetti orgs money making paper champs. Anyways Merry Xmas to you + your family.

Kudo's to Ward i thought he'd win on pts but gave Froch a chance of a KO but Ward was really dominant, very impressive, tho he's not the most pleasing to the eye, more BHop than Roy Jones unfortunately. I dont think Ward should go up to LHW to meet Pascal as Froch has already beaten him + Bhop who's really an older, slower version of Ward has also beaten him (twice in my eyes). Bute has'nt fought shit + should earn his chance to fight the no1 guy Ward by beating the likes of say Froch, Kessler + Dirrell etc not by looking good KTFO of B + C level guys. Personally i'd like Ward Kessler 2 as the Dane has repeatedly said it was his worst career performance + he had a lot of issues going into the bout + although Ward won clearly, we can only guess at what effects the headbutts had in the 2nd half of the bout.

Bute has'nt fought anyone, Johnson was his toughest fight on paper + the Johnson that Froch fought was'nt the same man man Bute fought. After years of great bouts + some dodgy decisions i think Glen turned up for a last big payday knowing his best in Quebec would'nt be enough regardless + thats why the bout resembled a sparring session. Ward's top dog althouth i think Dirrell is even faster Ward's rough housing will beat Dirrell + i still think Kessler, Froch + Dirrell would beat Bute. It's good for world boxing i think that the US has a very good new Champ in what for the US is the Nation's leanest time of boxing talent. Respect to the US of A !

Ward won it pretty convincingly, although Froch looked a little more effective in the last 2rds when he gave up trying to box Ward. I hoped Froch might win even tho i know he's slow + crude, he has a real warrior mentality which i personally find a plus but he met his equal in Ward with Ward being on a level higher skillwise. Still dont think Ward will be another SRL/Jones jnr/Floyd etc as he's more like BHop - very effective style that wins but is'nt the most pleasing to the eye. What did you think of Khan Peterson, i thought the pts deducted was harsh but even without them i had it a draw. Re-match please + Ward will kill Bute.

Ward was the master in every round. Respect to SOG. No complaints from me, he took Froach easily. I found myself hoping Carl didnt get the KO in the last as SOG deserved the win.

Ward looks the more likely to win but i dont think you can write Froch off, he's definitely the only one of the 2 who can KO the other guy, added to that i dont think he'll let Ward get away with any mauling or use of the head. Skill + speed goes to Ward but Ward has been hurt before Froch has'nt. Hopefully for the sake of us fans its a great bout whoever wins. I also gotta say i hope Bute does'nt beat the victor as his title defences have been dire at best whereas the boxers in the Super 6 have all fought top notch opponents especially Froch with Pascal + kessler with Calzaghe on top of the tournament.

To bo honest i've only seen Russell twice but he looks the nuts but i think Garcia is a bit further ahead, he's faced the better opposition, maybe in a year that would be great. Golovkin showed why he's the most avoided man in the 160lb division, great amateur record, beating the likes of Andre Dirrell, Andy Lee, Matvey Korobov, Yordanis Despaigne + KTFO of Lucien Bute etc. Hopefully some of the other names will grow some balls + face him. Is the Rios vs Maidana a done thing as i got a feeling he might move up + chase Khan for a rematch, i'd love to see that. Maidana would have been a viking beserker a 1000 yrs ago, the guys got a warrior mentality. Well peace + love to the States i aint been there in yrs.

Who do you think will win out of Khan vs Peterson _ i give it to Khan, just think he's got the better skills etc but still not sold on his chin.I hope him + Bradley get it on, I also pick Golovkin over Simon + really hoping Gamboa moves up a weight + meets Broner as that would be a barnstormer. The Gamboa vs Rios fight is out the window i hope with Rios looking like he's going up to 140lbs - it was acrazy Arum match up anyway. Slainte mhaith ( good health)
