Kayla was crowned the 16 and under champion last night of the Idol in the Skye - Season 5 Singing Competition at Skye Supper Club in Peoria, Arizona! :)

Hi Mommy!

OK, been a LONG time!!! It is now the Idol in the Skye Season and it's in the 3rd year running. Kayla entered again this year. There were 250 who auditioned, 82 made it through to prelimary rounds. Kayla made it in. Her performance was last night! She ROCKED THE HOUSE!!! She sang "The Climb" and won the audience vote and made it through!!!!! She is now in the top 20 - Semi-Finals!!! :o) The bad news???? I forgot to video it!!! I'M SORRY!!!!!!! Hopefully, Terry from Skye will have it posted and I can link to it here. The comments from the judges were the best of the night! All 3 claimed her to be the Best Performance and had nothing but good things to say about it... oh, wait a minute, Ryan complained that she was wearing flip flops.... and???? If that's all there was to complain about... maybe flip-flops are the way to go!!!! :o)
