@BoatingCampingFishin The tambourine player is the drummer for the Bangles, but she was subbed for a drum machine for this song.

I used to crank this song every day on the way to school. One reason this video is so classic is because of the drummer. Who wears a windbreaker to play drums? HA HA! I love it.

@johnnyzing This is a perfect analysis of professional drumming. I totally agree. My satisfaction as a drummer comes from knowing that I help create the atmosphere for people to express their talent on other instruments. Thanks for the insightful comment.

If any one wants to know, at 3:19, this is the exact moment I fell in love with Stevie Nicks. She looks like an absolute angel in this video. At 16 years old, I had never seen anyone as beautiful as her. Gotta love the 80's.

The look on his face and the tone of his voice tell me he is re-living whatever it was that inspired this tune. Kind of scary, but incredibly powerful.

Bill Fitch, his coach on the Celtics, called him "Kodak" because he said it was like Bird never stopped taking pictures in his head of the court and the players. He knew where everyone was ALL the time. Watching this is like watching Michelangelo paint. Brilliant, perfect and classic.

Try this: get in your car, go out into the country, and put this song on. Turn up the volume absolutely as loud as it can be. Then, just drive and sing. I tried it and I liked it! Best song for driving. Time flies. Yes, Mr. Peart, a car really is a metaphor for freedom!
