I'm from Salento, the "heel of Italy" and our music it's quite similar to this song. I don't know how it can be possible. Maybe it's becouse of the Spanish domination of South Italy few centuries ago. Anyways here's a video of our "Notte della taranta" concert, i think you'll be able to recognize...
