Lakeland Winery, located in Syracuse New York is the premier location for on-premise Wine making. We also host the largest wine Meetup group in Central New York.
I started making my own wine at 'Vine to Wine', Syracuse, New York a year or so after tasting my brother's home-made wine in British Columbia, Canada. I swear it was the best wine I ever tasted. I was even a little embarrassed because I didn't drink much wine at that time, and here I was drinking a glass each night. I might buy a bottle in the store for $10-$15 for a special occasion; but I hated the taste. In December 2005 I purchased the wine company and changed the name to Lakeland Winery. Since then, hundreds of customers have joined me in the fun of making their own wine from juice/concentrates. I've been spoiled, drinking so many deliciously different wines. Now I drink a glass EVERY night for my health, but I still can't stand the overly oak taste of most store bought red wines.
