I am a K-12 Deaf educator for 17 years and currently, I am a bilingual specialist. I am also an activist for Deaf babies and children to have the right to American Sign Language (ASL). Research shows that Deaf children with strong ASL syntax are able to master English proficiency skills.

I am deaf and 19 yrs old, but i will be 20 yrs old on April 19th.I fluent in 8 languages : Portuguese, Spanish, French, italian, spanish, and 3 sign languages : ASL, LIBRAS (Lingua Brasileira de Sinais) *brazilian sign language* , and LSF (langue des signes française). My family and I are orginally from Brazil and we live here in the U.S. for 11 years. =D fica com Deus (may God with you)
