Ampico Lexington - Texas Fox-Trot - Muriel Pollack
This is a recut that had no tempo stamped on it. I could only guess
what it could be. After seeing it on YouTube rag fest vids, my old
posting was ...
I own an original of the 88 note Rythmodik issue of the same performance, and the tempo is marked 65 (in case the recut is a different step rate, the performance should last about 2m 56s). It sounds OK at this speed but I too prefer it at about the speed you've set in this video.

Pearl White at Shea's Buffalo, 1964
Pearl White was one of America's best-loved theatre organists. She was a child prodigy and probably the youngest organist playing for silent movies...
Thanks so much for uploading these - I have a few, treasured, Pearl White piano rolls, including 'My Baby Just Cares For Me'! It's great to talk with someone who knew Pearl personally. Did she tell you anything about her days recording rolls for the Capitol roll company in Chicago?

Welte Mignon - Polishola - Blair
Played by Jack Blair released 1919
@pianmn199 Indeed - that's my point - nothing is known about him. I haven't been able to find any record of Fuiks/Arden copyrighting or publishing Polishola, so I wonder if Blair was actually him using a pseudonym. The Smith/Howe book says Lisle Embree was a psuedonym (false, he was a real guy), ...

Welte Mignon - Polishola - Blair
Played by Jack Blair released 1919
Charitable of Welte to credit Fuiks/Arden, since it's a blatant steal of Harry Thomas's "A Classical Spasm", which he recorded for Ampico/Rythmodik in 1916! I'm hoping it was a labelling mixup rather than someone's dishonesty. Makes me wonder, however, if the mysterious Jack Blair was actually F...

Knightsbridge March (In Town Tonight)
This is a player piano tune from around 1933 adapted for the Band Wagon.
Sounds like this scan was taken from my website at pianola.co.nz - if so, the original roll artist deserves credit - Laurel Pardey, of the Mastertouch roll company in Sydney, Australia.

This is Vocalstyle roll #12930, composed by Costello and Carson, played by Sam Jones and Abe Cole. Both of these names are likely Vocalstyle 'house names', used by whoever was at the recording piano or arranging table that day. Lovely high-quality performance as is usual with Vocalstyle!

Emblem 8811 "Tom, Dick, Harry and Jack" pb Warren
88 note roll "Tom, Dick, Harry and Jack" played on Cable console player
Nice roll. You might be interested to know "B. Warren" is a psuedonym of US artist Bertha Wolpa, also known as Bertha Walker when she recorded for Ampico, and later on Bee Walker, who wrote 'Hey Jealous Lover' sung by Sinatra! Quite an interesting life she led.

@KevinBeethoven - This video was generated from a player piano roll, for the 'Ampico' reproducing system. The pianiste, Margaret Volavy, recorded this some time between 1912-1917. Until the 1920s, the Ampico system frequently used 'note extensions' to simulate half-pedalling, or use of the sosten...

The Ampico recording book still exists, complete with dates various rolls were recorded, and as far as I know Confrey is in there. I'm enjoying your '50s hits, however it's not safe to assume every name on QRS rolls of this era is Cook. Harris Adams was very much real, and only worked at QRS for about a year. He was born in 1934, so is probably still alive.
