Jo Ann Smith plays autoharp in ways that will forever change your thinking about this instrument and its role in traditional music. Her broad range of styles, exquisite arrangements and drop-dead technical abilities are a delight to experience. You'll never see an autoharp the same way again.
About Me:
In addition to regular performances at local venues and regional festivals, Jo Ann has performed on the WoodSongs Old-Time Radio Hour in Lexington, KY.
Jo Ann has one CD, "Rhythm of the Rain", released June 2004. A collection of 15 traditional tunes and songs featuring autoharp, guitar, mandolin and bass.
The first cut from this album, "Amazing Grace", was included in volume 20 of the Acoustic Rainbow Radio Sampler and is receiving airplay both in the US and abroad.
"Rhythm of the Rain" was also listed as one of the top 70 albums for the month of February, 2005 on the FolkDJ-L website.

If you are to tune all of those many strings separately I guess that would be a bit intimidating for me...
But it is not easy for me, because there is nothing in german.
I hope I will see more about Technique from you in the next time.
Thanke you from germany!
Andreas
