My Name is Tony, I live in Staffordshire UK England, born in 1962, I am a musician playing guitars also bass, as well as keyboards synthersizers and softsynths via midi / usb keyboards.I create / write all my own material under the project name of "AURORIS", my music love is Progressive Rock both old and new school, "Darker" types of Metal both old and "Nu", Electronic atmospheric synth styles of music, NOT Dance!!!!...then cooling down to Ambient music, I like music to take me on journeys....
To date I have produced four albums in my home studio since 2005, and it has been a labour of love & hate for me, love for the music, hate for the machinery and software I have battled with (and still do!!)....those albums have sold around the world in an obviously modest way as I am just a regular guy working to help support my family, my music is an extended hobby.
My biggest influences from way back are artists like PINK FLOYD, GENESIS, STEVE HACKETT, STEVE HILLAGE, TANGERINE DREAM, LED ZEPPELIN, BLACK SABBATH, BOSTON, MIKE OLDFIELD, PINK FAIRIES, HAWKWIND, YES, RICK WAKEMAN, etc etc.....and now, PORCUPINE TREE, STEVEN WILSON, OZRIC TENTACLES, OPETH, TRIVIUM, GOD FORBID, BLACKFIELD, TOOL, and more......
Cheers dude for the encouraging words :)))
