About this user

Jordan Bruner is a multimedia artist and filmmaker. She grew up in a house on a lake near the Chesapeake Bay, across from an island where Blackbeard once stored the bounty of his plunder. After receiving her BFA in Kinetic Imaging (video, animation, and sound), she moved to New York City. She has worked on various television projects for PBS and made graphics for multiple documentaries, including National Geographicâ€™s Moment of Death. She was nominated for an Emmy in Graphic Design and Art Direction for her work on the PBS show Curious. She is currently a freelance animator, designer, and video artist working out of her studio in Brooklyn, and has worked on a wide range of projects. Most recently she was worked as an animator for Davis Guugenheim's new documentary Waiting for Superman and was animation director for the soon to be aired show Mind of the Designer on Planet Green. Jordan also exhibits her paintings in galleries the world over.
