There's only so much a drummer can do to reveal their musical skills, which is why I chose to do the solos by Carl Palmer, percussionist/drummer extraordinaire, of Emerson, Lake and Palmer . The Karn Evil 9 1st Impression pt. 2 drum solo (taken from the 1974 live album Welcome Back My Friends to the Show that Never Ends, Ladies and Gentlemen, Emerson, Lake and Palmer) is as musical as a drum solo can be, compared to just bashing about on the drums. The same can be said for ELP's "Toccata" percussion solo, which speaks for itself. Many people have sent me messages, asking how I tune the drums. I tune the toms to the same notes that Carl Palmer used on his stainless steel drum set, however, I HIGHLY recommend Prof. Sounds Drum Tuning Bible, here: http://home.earthlink.net/~... for all of your tuning.

My goal is to perform with musicians who want to play more sophisticated music, and to play in an Emerson, Lake and Palmer tribute band. However, I am open to playing just about anything in existence. Thanks very much for watching! Steve
