ATSPHEAR is a Spanish band of metal. It was formed in 2001, and went through some line-up changes until 2003 During this time, the members of the group that remained unchanged (Sergio, Manu, Victor and Carlos) began to compose their first songs and gradually develop a style both personal and modern. The group as it is today was formed in May 2003. The band members included: Sergio Lara (guitar), Manuel Probanza (guitar), Rafael Fernandez (vocals), Carlos Delgado (Bass) and Victor Hernandez (drums);. Finally a stable group, the band began recording a demo they could use as an introduction to the public. The pre-album was called "Atmosphere X" and began to be recorded in September of 2003.(You can download it from their web www.atsphear.com,FREE!) In September of 2004, ATSPHEAR started the recording of their first album with ZERO RECORDS, and was mixed in the winter of 2005. The album contains 11 songs whose sounds were produced by Javier Rubio once again. ATSPHEAR is influenced by a lot of bands: Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Savatage, In Flames, Metallica, Black Sabbath, Dark Tranquillity, Killswitch Engage, Deep Purple, Sepultura, Lacuna Coil......, and they try to mix all this influences in their music.

From 2005 to 2007 they've played supporting bands such as Alice in Chains, Soilwork or Barón Rojo.

May 2007 Juan Domínguez joins the band as singer and during last summer, the band records a demo called Ascent/Descent
which contains three songs called Ascent/Descent.
