Jill will be stepping down from 11Alive's morning anchor position at the end of next month (August, 2011)... I'll miss seeing her. Chris is still there, and still a very good weather forecaster/meteorologist. Lot of great memories.

Storer Broadcasting's closing tag seems like it ought to be memorable. Gannett used to have its memorable "death star" closing tag on most/all of its local newscasts. Pam's been on WSB since 1989, and I notice that I've not been seeing too much of her lately. I remember Chuck and Guy on WXIA.....

I'm not sure what WPVI would have been like if they had used different theme music... like Gari's "Hello News" or "Great News"... and several other themes. I take it that WPVI and its viewers will want MCTYW to stay for many more years to come.

I still remember remember WGCL (formerly WGNX) as an independant station, and as "Georgia's News at Ten". I also remember WAGA as a CBS station, before the FOX/New World deal was carried out.

I was hoping that Days would have considered updated theme music... as well adding a cast montage (with performer's names included) to the opening title sequence. I do like the hourglass visual, as well as like Macdonald Carey's opening line in the Days opening. Just my thoughts.
