Ask yourself this: Is it worse to starve to death at a young age or not be born at all?
Donations to the third world might ease your bad conscience but they usually create more problems than they solve ... in other words: Dont send a fucking shovel or food ... send nothing but good advice and let the whole mess regulate itself as nature intended ... might sound harsh, but if you think about it, its less torture than allowing 35.000 children each day to starve to death.
