I'm using 2 digital cameras for amateur shots and footages.
The first one acquired back in February 2009, is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5. Most of my early YouTube HD uploads were filmed using that camera.

The recent camera I've got myself as a Christmas 2009 gift is a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ35. This super-zoom camera proves indispensable during my Mayon Volcano December 2009 eruption footages.

Both cameras can record high definition movies in 720p. I love my Lumix cameras and I'm very happy with them! But you know what... I would love it more and would be happier to own a Panasonic Lumix DMC-GF1.

Lumix to YouTube HD transcoding
===========================
Below you'll find a mediafire download link containing a guide on how to convert Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ5 movie to YouTube-accepted HD video. I used the same guide for my YouTube High Definition videos and got amazing results.
The guide is in HTM format, complete with pictures and instructions. I uploaded it online as a ZIP archive. You need to extract the contents of the ZIP archive first then open/read the HTM file using your favorite browser. If the guide helped you, feel free to post your results/ comments. Thank you.
