It was Ernest Hemingway who first used the phrase, 'growing strong in broken places.' Where a bone breaks and heals is also where the bone becomes strongest. The same can be true of our broken places - where we have failed, fallen, been hurt or afraid - when we approach them with a positive mind and attitude.
Then we will be able to say, like Paul, that 'all things work together for good to them that loved the Lord' (Rom 8:28)

We tend to see and hear things NOT THE WAY THEY ARE but THE WAY WE ARE, through our MENTAL FILTER formed through our experiences. The hurts and the disillusions that we experienced in the past, unless resolved, will to some extent distort the way we view reality and subconsciously we become selective to what we choose to hear and see.

All during the harvest, the Jordan was at flood stage. When did the water part? Not while the priests bearing the ark of God were looking on. But we must take the step of faith to experience the mighty works of God in our lives.

Any song that has a nice melody and meaningful lyrics. Michael Jackson's "Man In The Mirror' is a very meaningful song. My favourite worship team is Hillsong from Australia. I like their vibrant songs and energetic worship. Jad Gillies is my favourite worship leader at the moment. He has a great voice.
