Bayoubonton - ASTROMUSIC is publishing mostly NEWLY written songs and music on Youtube. Done in a simple arrangement proving that they work also in such a setting. If you want to record, use or cover a piece, you will NEED PERMISSION, which in most cases will be granted too !!!

ASTRO, maybe better known as Nout Grupstra, plays & played Roots-music in bands around the Dutch and German folk and jazz scene: Old-time with the the Ramshackle Stringband, Jazz, Blues and Calypso with the Crooks and Chickenfeed, Bluegrass with Scarecrow and the $ide$how. He also performed with the "Rumtreiber Band" or "Jimmie Rodgers Experience" of Roland Heinrich, CD on Bear Family Records. Nout has also composed music scores for television, movies (both TV and cinema) and theater productions. He plays about anything with or even without strings from guitar, slide-guitar, fiddle, mandolin, old-time banjo, accordion, concertina and musical saw.
