I am many things. Most importantly, I am a wife to my wonderful husband, and a mommy to our new baby boy. Besides my family, I hold a deep passion for animals. I am an animal lover, a dog trainer, an animal rescue advocate, a veterinary clinic kennel hand and receptionist, a foster mommy for rescued dogs and cats, and an avid advocate of responsible pet ownership. My passion with animals started when I was just a child and began training and competing in dog sports such as agility, obedience, and conformation, and I've been involved in animals ever since - over a decade now.

I have been training dogs and competing in agility, obedience and conformation for over ten years. As a child I had competed in jr showmanship and 4-H as well.
My future will always hold room for the adopting, helping, rehabilitating, training, and caring for rescue and shelter dogs.

I believe in the power of positive reinforcement training. I switched over from more harsh and traditional training methods(choke chains, yank and crank) many, many years ago and have been an avid advocate of positive reinforcement and motivational methods ever since.
