Witness how the Catholic Church and other religious groups interfere with the impeachment process. Corona's effort to put the church as his shield to save himself from impeachment as Chief Justice and hide the truth from the people. Just watch how they will manipulate this issue. What ever happened to the separation of the church and the state under the Constitution? This country will never move forward.
CHIEF JUSTICE CORONA MUST EXPLAIN THE IRREGULARITIES IN HIS SALNs. If CJ Corona is demanding Pnoy to show his SALNs and wants him impeached, then focus on CJ Corona's SALNs irregularities first. Too many issues he needs to explain but instead he has been diverting the issues and not explaining his SALns.
Who is on trial? Pnoy or Corona? CJ Corona still has not explained his SALNs. 5 weeks have passed. When is the big question? Now the trial is diverted to Pnoy's mental state..Old issue na yan! Perhaps CJ Renato Corona needs to be tested to check his mental capabilities to lead the Supreme Court. Do we need this kind of chief justice?
Corona is putting so much effort in stopping the trial, issuing TRO to stop further check on his dollar accounts, blaming Hacienda Luisita, Mar Roxas, Justice Carpio, accusing P100 million bribery to Senators, BIR harrassments, public's right to information on matters of public concern banned by issuing new rulings and resolutions, encouraging political rallies masked as prayer rallies, Bishops interfering, etc. If he succeeds in trashing this impeachment trial, he does not have to explain his SALNs. It's his obvious goal!. He has no intentions to explain himself and let this issue just fade away like nothing happen.
Lopsided justice system is being supported by the religious groups. There is no balance in the Judiciary level of the government. The scales of justice are too lopsided and way too far in shifting to the direction of fairness. This is not about religion but about the justice system.
PEOPLE MUST NOT FORGIVE AND FORGET BY CHOOSING TO LET GO AND MOVE ON. NOT THIS TIME PHILIPPINES! ========================== QUIBOLOY, EL SHADDAI, BRO MIKE VELLARDE, IGLESIA NI CRISTO, CBCP, ETC. Are any of these religious groups and leaders engaging in illegal politicking? Have they violated the Constitution? Should their tax exemption status be revoked? How do they become very wealthy? Even bishops and churches own billions worth of stocks in mining, banks, etc. Do they pay taxes for their non-religious activities?
Philippine politics are highly influenced by the endorsements of religious groups. Significantly afecting the outcome of past presidential elections. In 2010 presidential elections, the CBCP endorsed JC De los Reyes because he condemns the RH Bill. But the people elected by landslide a supporter of RH Bill - President Noynoy Aquino. What happens when a candidate not endorsed by the Church is elected? The campaign to discredit starts and continues. Bishops resorted to name calling. Aquino as modern Herod, un-Catholic, anti-Christ..etc. According to Arch Cruz, if you do not follow the Church, she will bury you! Just watch how these religious groups perform in the Aquino administration. They will hold prayer rallies supporting any officials where they benefitted or benefit in the future. It's not about the country but money! Those elected Senators and government officials (endorsed by the Catholic Church and other religious groups) have forgotten that Philippines is a secular government and not a Catholic government. It is a government for all and not just for Catholics.
In future elections, remember to stop electing those endorsed by these religious groups and leaders.
Do you elect the candidates for their qualifications or for religious obedience?
If these religious groups continue to meddle in the Philippine politics participating in political activities like political rallies masked as prayer rallies, why do they continue to receive tax exemptions? =========================================== Philstar Article:
The Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) will hold a grand evangelical mission and Bible exposition at the Quirino Grandstand, Luneta, Manila on Feb. 28 to urge President Aquino and his Administration to respect the rule of law. The INC is expecting 2 million of its members to attend the event. Other INC rallies are to be held simultaneously in Visayas and Mindanao. The relations between President Aquino and INC have been further strained by the removal of NBI Director Magtanggol Gatdula, an INC member. DBM Sec. Butch Abad was refused an audience with Ka Eduardo Manalo, the Executive Minister 2 weeks ago. Iglesia ni Cristo members attended in big numbers the rally for Chief Justice Corona in front of the Supreme Court recently....read more... http://www.philstar.com/Article.aspx?...
