About as amateur as amateur gets
Hearing music is going inside the composers mind is kind of a fallacy. It kinda assumes that listeners is at least as astute as the composers mind. This is not true at all. These classical composers were geniuses. And very unique ones at that. Its very presumptious that the listener would understand what or how it is to get into their brilliant minds. The only thing that we can hope for is to go estimate it as close as we can. The same similar emotions and thinking but limited by what our minds can endure.
