Canada continues the fight to end the seal slaughter. That's because Canada is filled with good people who will not quit. China is filled with good people who will not tolerate the slaughter of cats and dogs for fur or food. Spain and Mexico are filled with people who will end the bullfights. Veganism is a growing movement that will end the abattoir horrors.

Cruelty in the name of tradition, sport, employment, research and good old fashioned fun IS coming to an end.

Thank you Bob Fawcett, for all that you have done to create the dialog needed to strengthen Canada's animal cruelty laws. Your despicable act of cowardice in the killing of 100 chained dogs in April 2010 in Whistler has finally brought this issue to the attention of a largely apathetic public. For that, I thank you. For your crime, I seek the strongest penalty. Let's see if you wrote the book on it.
