The swastika (卐) is considered extremely holy and auspicious in India and Persia (Parsis) and Far East Asian countries (卍). Indian Cross or "Wheel of the Golden Sun","Wheel of light".

In the year 693 Empress Wu Zetian decreed that the swastika should henceforth be regarded as a Chinese character, to be pronounced the same as the character 萬 wàn "ten thousand".
in Tibetan is g.yung drung (གཡུང་དྲུང་), literally means "in front of the cow-yak".

In India, both clockwise and counterclockwise swastikas were used, with different meanings: the counterclockwise one is associated with the goddess Kali-Maya
(mother of Buddha, associated with the Moon), and the clockwise one is associated
with Ganesha (elephant-headed father of Buddha, associated with the Sun).

Positive Swastika (counter-clockwise) - The symbol for spiritual victory
Swastikas must rotate counter-clockwise.In the yogic tradition where the swastika originated, this direction symbolises 'permanent spiritual victory'.
