I've been writing songs since I was 15,but I never had the chance to really explore the wonders of music,coz of poverty(i know -a bitter and lame excuse -but its true)...I guess some people were born HAVING a golden spoon stuck on their butt and some DONT^_^,(do I sound bitter)..
THANKS GOD for creating that someone who created MIDI ^_^ especially the "Virtual Instrument on some multi track recording softwares",It gave alot of help to people like me who's financially incapable -CHANCE. And people like me who also have a bad memory, I no longer worry about losing/forgetting all those notes, harmonies & melodies...
I just turned 30 and dying, I thought..."hey,I don't wanna die in regret",so I started writing again, threw away all the old crappy songs that I've written in the past years...
As a songwriter I dont like the idea having to choose a GENRE..coz people tends to expect you to stay on that spectrum - and I don't like that, coz for me..it's like putting fences,limitations and boundaries on ones creativity and imagination, I like to be spontaneous ...
I also wanted share this CHANCE,so instead of me singing my OWN songs I'm gonna be featuring young singers/vocalists in our small neighborhood...
I'm a fan of real artist,and I mean REAL ARTIST; like people who create/do stuff not because theres people who would appreciate but people who create and do stuff just to express something regardless of any expectations nor appreciations...^_^
I always wanted to form a band or be on a band but I've got a bad memory "literally" ^_^,I often struggle to remember a chord or solo on real time plying,no matter how many times I practice a piece it still happens,I always end up IMPROVISING ^_^,but the "GOOD THING" about "me" having a bad memory is I get to play from the heart most of the time ^_^....MAYBE that's also the reason why I'm a songwriter,-so that I dont have to memorize someone else's song/piece...^_^
My life is literally ticking out ^_^,so I started living each day as if it's my last,I strictly exercise the GOLDEN RULE in anytime & anywhere possible.. Basically,I want this channel to contain my memories,my soul ^_^ ...
