@artofcounterpoint yes I am familiar with that great Bernstein work. My students hear the "Cool" fugue from West Side Story when we watch the movie. I love the humor in that fugue simply because the subject is a 12-tone row (the fugue is not a 12-tone piece, but the subject is a pure 12-tone row).
