"Nordic myth replaced the Christian Bible as the foundation of the new religion. Today a new mythos is dawning, the mythos of the blood, the belief that the godly essence is to be defended through the blood. The old beliefs will be brought back to honor again. The whole secret knowledge of nature, of the divine, the demonic. We will wash off the Christian veneer and bring out a religion peculiar to our race. The religion of the blood. The dead were resurrected then achieved eternal life. They fight, die and are victorious."

The so-called "Witch hunts" was a Protestant thing from the Renaissance, not the Middle Ages. Why from the time of Charlemagne there was already healthy skepticism of Witches. And all the guys you named were all working and funded BY the Church. Copernicus was a priest of the Church. And Galileo was a friend of the Pope, but he was also a stubborn idiot who said the wrong things; when the church stated that he should have proof.

Do you even know what you have to do to worship your "Gods"? Human sacrifice, animal sacrifice and pray to statues and beings who don't care about you one bit.

And who gave you your knowledge? The search for the truth is a tenet of the Catholic Church which is built on the chronicles, letters and stories of real people.

The Inquisition were not atrocities, since they were helping the countries that needed them. Mother church doesn't deny nor does she agree to anything. She leaves it to her children. Our so-called "Pagan ancestors" would have failed. The Visigoth barely stood their ground against the Muslims and the Franks were born and raised with the guidance of Catholicism. Without them, the Great battle of Tolbiac would have lost and the Alamanni would have lost. And they were even less prepared to withstand the Muslims.

The Inquisitions were not atrocities. Have you even studied them? Are you sure you didn't eat the half-truths of the E.U.?

Were it not for Catholicism, we would all be Muslims right now, speaking arabic, praying at 6AM and wearing Niqabs.

I've told you and keep telling you that the Inquisitions was an institution to root out corruption within governments and to punish law-breakers. Cathars, look up their doctrines. The Spanish Inquisition: Muslims were helping Barbary Pirates raid the lands of my people, the solution was to imprison them, turn them to Catholicism or exile. But criminals are criminals no matter what form they take.

I'm afraid this I also disagree with. In Protestanism, you only need faith and the stubborness to maintain that faith, while in Catholicism you can't live solely alone on faith. You must prove that your faith is not bound by mythical fairy tales, but something real and logical.

Compare the quotes of Martin Luther and any Catholic Saint any day.

And there's no need to offend. We're sharing our thoughts.

I'm afraid I disagree. The measure of the Latin States in Central & South America are not founded by alienating their religions; but by their own corrupt governments, who are led as satellite states by the U.S.

If the U.S. and E.U. do truly give so much aid, please name them and how much they give and what they expect in return. You see, if you look closely, many of these Latin countries suffered Dictatorships led and controlled by the United States; religion having nothing to do with it.

So you see, your hatred of Catholicism is misguided.

And while Christ said Love thy neighbor as yourself (Matthew 22:39, Mark 12:31), he also taught to follow the Law. Romans 13:1-7.

In the Inquisition, people were held for as long as a year, where they would be coerced of their wrongs. The worst of these being the liars who would receive torture; but that never lasted longer than 15 minutes and could only be used once.

The ones responsible for the Inquisitions were the Monks of the Order of Dominic. And the majority of the time, people were let go when caught by Inquisitors. As a matter of fact, many people caught by Inquisitors and released went on to become Saints.

So, there is more to the Inquisitions than what you're told, or have heard, or even know. I'll happily tell you more, if you're interested.

I believe in Catholicism because of the philosophies, sacrifices and reason it offers. It's logical.

Catholicism is the longest existing charity in all the world and has done far more for anyone than any modern charity with a political bias ever could.

The Papa sits in a throne because he must. It's tradition and to throw those away would be to forget the sacrifices made so he could be there. It's a severe dishonor that's worst than death.

Exactly. Since these countries are nothing in comparison to Scandinavia, and much poorer, they have greater chances of corruption and crime. Think about it. How much does the United States really give to the Latin countries in Central and/or South America? Do you hear much about it? Are there websites which keep track? The issue is much harder to answer, since the U.S. have little to no interest in Central and South America. The lands they took from the Mexicans during the 19th century gathered all the resources that they could want. U.S. foreign policy is built on humiliating and ignoring their neighbors; rather than help them.

At any sight, comparing Mexico to Scandinavia is not only foul but highly unfair, as the country is dealing with problems not dealt with in Europe.
MontChevalier (1 week ago)
Well, perhaps that could be said of countries under Protestant control, but under Catholic countries, we shared our religion by act of reason.

Now, I'd like to go back to Catholicism and explain why it's an essential part of all of us. Catholicism offers free education, free labour, free orphanges and free hospitals. So, if there are poor people, old people and anyone society might not be able to maintain, Catholicism would be able to. These were also very appealing things in the conversion of Kings and subjects; especially in Scandinavia, where there were hundreds of Kings.

Now, I hope that after all I say, there can come some level of understanding, which is especially important, in our days.
