About this user
After moving to the artist colony of Laguna Beach, California long ago, I did stained glass window design and construction for many years. Woodburning (pyrography) has also been a passion applied to oh so many wooden boxes as well as serving trays and pieces for hanging on the wall. My profile picture is a portion of Art Nouveau horse woodburned onto a 14" hard shelled gourd. For the last 10 years I concentrated on gourd art.
I have recently decided to start down a different creative path that will include collage and assemblage art. My current inspiration is a fantastic teacher and artist named Claire-Lise Matthey Anderegg as well as many talented and generous YouTube artists.

Interests
I love a completely unplanned day trip and getting in touch with serendipity. Creating art, certainly, but one of my favorite things to do is to come up with creative ideas. It is especially fun if it happens at a weird time or an unexpected place. I love being inspired and having those aha moments. Discussions with other artists..what I call creative tennis because of the ideas going back and forth...can lead to ideas that would have never happened sitting by yourself.
