It's the facial expressions. Verbal communications have always been powerful. All great public speakers must 1st master this art. Without the right facial expressions the greatest presentation in the world would be flat and dull.

This is by far your best work I've seen yet. You really have it for this type of abstract work.

The only art I really enjoy doing is abstract painting. Each painting is unique. Realism is stressful and in the end produces a picture like a million others in the world.

Not bad for 1st try. The big problem is over working the painting and learning to pick up the paint on the brush or knife the right way. Big is often better. It's amazing how much better a large canvas can make some paintings look.

Every artist should keep records and whenever possible carry a digital camera. In one hour I can get more ideas for paintings with my camera than I have time to paint in a week. Art is everywhere waiting to be found.

Nice realist/impressionistic work. Actually better than most as your trees are believable and natural. Lots of artists would do well to study how you do your trees. Also the way you hold your brush is very good training for beginners. This is a very good and useful video.
