Ik was erbij in 1967 in de Royal Albert Hall te Londen toen dit (nieuwe) stuk als verplicht nummer op het repetoire stond van het Britse Brassbandkampioenschap 1967. Mr Eric Ball himself was een lid van de jury. Onvergetelijke ervaring......

Grandioze tijd!!!! Onvergetelijke ervaring met al die optredens.

klarinet partij is lastig, rijp voor examenklasse. Klasse 3 denk ik.;

Poolse mis is vind ik één der grootste compositions from Borislav.

Eén der grootste triomphen van Mr Fucik, de orchestratie is verbluffend. Vooral de piccolopartij in de laatste 32 maten.

Klasse, en hulde aan Mr. Fucik.

Dit is tijdloos amusement. Klasse! In deze hectische tijd is dit een verademing om dit (weer) te mogen aanschouwen.

Niet alleen de performers, doch ook de orchestratie is verbluffend goed.

Great performance. Difficult to play, this concertmarches,with walking, but musicians are well to play, marching, to play the concertmarches.

I played this piece at the military Tattoo Delft, the Netherlands in 1966, with the massed bands. Great and spectacullary.
