Well watching the alders and looking at the top of the waves it is NOT blowing anywhere near 48 mph when this plane was landed . It is blowing alot for a Cub but certainly do able; to much hype on here about Cubs . We did this sorta thing everyday 30 years ago and thought nothing of it.

No a standard 150 would not hold this V plow up correctly . I have HD springs under the front end . Thats about $300 upgrade for the springs installed . You can just add Timbrens but then you are just riding on a collapsed suspension and directly on the rubbers............. that is not cool either.
