The track is still in use as far south as Bliss Street where it intersects N. Cherry Street on Goose Island in Chicago. Big Bay Lumber at Division and N. Cherry still receives carloads of drywall and lumber from the Chicago Terminal which took over from CP/Soo Line in 2007.
The first part of this video is on N. Cherry Street SOUTH of Division Street in Chicago. The crew is switching Big Bay Lumber. Cherry and North Branch were rebuilt in 1991. Prior to 1991 this section of Cherry and North Branch were dirt paved.
