My focus as an interdisciplinary artist is defined by work that crosses boundaries to obtain a greater comprehension of human behavior within the cultural and social constructs of society. My art blends various disciplines in an attempt to explore personal truth through the practice of video production, installation, mix-media sculptures, sound and performance. The formula for my vision involves being responsive to inspirational elements and translating visual language into significant bodies of work.My process is rooted in themes of tragedy, survival, social consequences of technology, music, spirituality and language. My practice is experimental, yet, intentional. Time-based media, scale, space, sound and visual languages are critical components by which my work resonates with an audience. The inventiveness of my sound design is the pulse of my work. My aggressive processing of imagery is the language by which I make meaning. Together, I am individualized in thought, feeling and communication.
