They were and are very influential today, best band of their kind. Saw them in concert in Montreal mid 80's 1st row small venue. I think I was 16 lol! Always will be a fan!

You are an ass for posting this. I am a fan of her music. Obviously she was troubled and had addictions but to benefit from this or mislead people who loved her makes you an complete dick.

She's gifted. Fortunately for her age you tube etc. exists unlike so much talent wasted and unknown & missed over the years. Kids today need to know that it IS very easy today to be "shown" than it was ever in any era since recorded music started. A lot less luck to get talent noticed today.

The somewhat fragile and insecure way Samantha sings sometimes makes this song for me... sometimes, that kind of vulnerability it exactly the way to show the reality of heartache honestly. It takes guts to just let it out that way without it being so polished. Real.
