Artistic Director/Choreographer Myriam Ojeda-Patiño
Choreographer and artistic director of artLAT, born in Colombia, South America. Her vision and achievements have made it possible for artLAT to develop from a local art organisation to a national touring company. Myriam has made on site investigations in several Latin Amerian countries including Cuba, Argentina, Peru and Colombia. She is currently working on various cultural projects in close collaboration with a networks of artists based in Latin America and in London. Main works: 2006 Romance DíCarnaval, UK tour and Tiempo de Tango, UK tour 2004, both tours supported by the ACE. Other works are Outside Frontiers, Interdisciplinary performance project (2003), and La Casa de los Buendia (2000), a large Interdisciplinary site-specific. Transtango Concert Show in 2009-10 and Tango Siempre Band in 2007-2008 with the show Tango:Nuevo. In 2011 Myriam is working in the UK, Ecuador, Italy and Swizertland.
