Sebastian Shaw looks more like Luke, plus, more believable as Anakin. Hayden Christensen simply looks evil and maniacal as the Force Ghost. If I were to have watched the 2004 version before 1983 verison, would've thought Hayden was invisible to Luke, and perhaps a new bad guy for the sequel maybe?

A visual opening way better than boring dialogue. Even I was put off by TPM as an 8 year-old child when my cousin wanted to watch it. I like 0:17, 0:59, 1:09 (although it rips off the Scream 4 slogan), 1:33, 1:38. The opening music reminds me of Drew...a mean Casey's sad death, the classic opening of Scream.

It's just sad to see a film have such a huge budget, but lack in story or good direction. I really think they should've just just made a 5th sequel, and probably made three more films after that and should end where the first Planet of the Apes begins.

Wish they made a sequel to this rather than trying to reimagine or remake it. Would've been interesting to see how the series unfolded up until Taylor's eventual arrival on the Planet of the Apes
