@apark02 cuz they needed a "filler" match...How the tv taping schedule would work back then is, RAW was live every other Monday & taped other times. Generally they would tape maybe 8 matches in a given night in one building but only air 3 or 4 per week.

Anyone notice from 1986-1993, WWF Superstars tapings were held in larger venues?, then from 93-97 tapings were held in more smaller athletic auditorium like venues such as this one here?

...no no this was the 2nd stunner, the 1st recipient of the stunner was a jobber named Jason Arndt on a WWF Superstar taping, the same exact taping that actually coupled & ran together w/ "in your house beware of dog 2" ,which would have been 5/28/96; however it wasn't actually aired until 6/8/96.
