In celebration of the greatest athletic achievement by a man on a psychedelic journey, No Mas and artist James Blagden proudly present the animated tale of Dock Ellis' legendary LSD no-hitter. In the past few years weve heard all too much about performance enhancing drugs from greenies to tetrahydrogestrinone, and not enough about performance inhibiting drugs. If our evaluation of the records of athletes like Mark McGwire, Roger Clemens, Marion Jones, and Barry Bonds needs to be revised downwards with an asterisk, we submit that that Dock Ellis record deserves a giant exclamation point. Of the 263 no-hitters ever thrown in the Big Leagues, we can only guess how many were aided by steroids, but we can say without question that only one was ever thrown on acid.
Sadly, the great Dock Ellis died last December at 63. A year before, radio producers Donnell Alexander and Neille Ilel, had recorded an interview with Ellis in which the former Pirate right hander gave a moment by moment account of June 12, 1970, the day he no-hit the San Diego Padres. Alexander and Ilels original four minute piece appeared March 29, 2008 on NPRs Weekend America. When we stumbled across that piece this past June, Blagden and Isenberg were inspired to create a short animated film around the original audio.

12 weeks in the books and 4 weeks left. With 2 games vs the Chiefs and Raiders, we should finish no worse then 10-6. Anything better will be great and anything worse will be pathetic. No more December collapses. Were not the Cowboys, we don't play that way.
Time to go in to Indy and shock some people and give them thier 1st loss of the season and improve to 9-4. I know we can beat them.
^^ Hes a Colts fan, He talks about the Colts like once a month in his videos. But his a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan and LOVES The Spurs. He would do naughty things to some Spurs players. Talks about them in his vid. Makes a vid after each game during thier 82 game season. Be sure to hit that pimp up.
^^ Hes another Colts fan but he mainly just talks about the NFL in his vids and makes NFL Recap vids and stuff like that. He likes smoking weed and his hobbies are macking on hoochies and skateboarding. Theres rumors that he has a small penis but his good friends know thats not true. And he's got a funky lil hairdo. So be sure to sub him up.
Those are just 2 Indy fans I know. I don't really know many Colts fans on here. Kinda shocking since thier a good team. But sorry I forgot to shout you 2 out in the video. But I put you guys in the sidebar because I got nothin but love for you.
But thats that. It will be a tough game like I said. But we need to play near perfect to win. No turnovers, no penalties. None of that dumb shit. We can beat this team. They are unbeaten but not unbeatable. If they beat us this week they will clinch homefield and set the record for consecutive regular season wins at 22. I don't want that to happen against us.
So thats that. Colts struggle vs the 3-4 like they do when they play Pitt, SD, Pats, ect... this is a new Broncos team And I look forward to handing them thier 1st loss.
Also... a quick preview on some WHAT IF's for the final 4 games:
IF:
Denver loses to ONLY Indy And:
SD loses to Cincy and Dallas --- We win common opponents 5-3 to 4-4
SD Loses to Titans and Dallas --- We win on Strength of victory .. probably
SD Loses to Cincy and Titans --- We win conference record 8-4 to 7-5
Denver Loses to ONLY Philly And:
SD loses to Cincy and Dallas --- We win conference record 9-3 to 8-4
SD Loses to Titans and Dallas --- San Diego wins better common opponents 5-3 to 4-4
SD Loses to Titans and Cincy --- San Diego wins better common opponents 5-3 to 4-4
IF Denver loses to Both INDY and PHILLY And:
SD Loses to Cincy, Dallas, Titans --- We win conference record 8-4 to 7-5
SD Loses to Cincy, Dallas, Skins --- We win common opponents 4-4 to 3-5
SD Loses to Titans, Skins, Dallas --- We prob win Strength of schedule
IF We win out And:
SD Loses to Cincy --- We win conference record 9-3 to 8-4
SD Loses to Cowboys -- We win strength of victory probably...
SD Loses to Titans --- San Diego wins -- Common opponents 6-2 to 5-3
SD Loses to Skins --- We win strength of schedule probably..
And if we lose to any of our division games then we'd have to win the division outright to beat San Diego since thier 5-1 vs the West and were 3-1 right now.
So just some quick lil scenerios to glance at mates.
But thats that.
Cant wait til Sunday.
We've beaten more teams with winning records then anyone with 5 wins. And we've beaten 4 division leaders this year. Time to beat #5 as well.
And Hopefully the Cowboys can win a game in December. wh00t.
