I am a Calvinist. I hold to the doctrine of Predestination and Election after a lot of study. A lot of people believe John 3:16 states for God so loved the WORLD, as the statement God loves everyone. This is false doctrine. Strong's Concordance translates the word WORLD from the Greek Kosmos into being "believers only", not "every person."

John Calvin Predestination is clearly taught in Ephesians 1:4-5; 9-10. There is no dispute in God's divine sovereignty over man's will as Romans 9 attests to. God's Self Sufficiency and Aseity is sovereign without coercion or influence from his creation. Irresistible Grace is by Christ's mercy which is quickened (Ephesians 2:5) to each person he elects, and this is how one comes to the knowledge of Jesus Christ.
