Funny story about this song, when PF were recording the original this guy walks into the studio and hangs around watching them record it. They didn't recognize him and asked him what he wanted. Turned out it ws Sid Barrett the, person the song is about.

@Gregaru I doubt this very much. Having competed in China in the 90's, I know that watching the competition winners is like watching a world class dancer. Maybe he won the division for the beginning foreigners, but that's about it.
