I like all music, from rock to classical. I grew up listening to the Beatles, Grateful Dead, Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd and classic rock. I was fortunate to get my first guitar at 14. I was influenced largely by Bob Weir and his rythmic style. I played for years, then stopped, rarely picking up the guitar because more important goals took precedence. I started playing again a couple of years ago and found a renewed passion. I've been working on lead phrasing and becoming more of a complete guitar player, influenced largely by Dickey Betts and his warm, rich tone. Overall, for me playing is a great creative outlet & cuts down on stress. Eventually, I'd like to write some original songs; however, my schedule rarely affords me time to play other than creating these short You Tube videos.

I enjoy teaching and doing short instructional videos for others to give back to YT for all it's given to me.
