Just came here to see how a spartan would look rendered in cryengine 3. I have also seen MC rendered in the unreal 3 engine, and must say that although some of the levels are really dull compared to other games, halo 3 engine (and reach engine) do a superb job when it comes to rendering spartans....

Let me ask you something: Did bungie duplicate model definitions in every map? i.e: the pelican model is stored in every map that uses it or there are just tags and the models themselves are stored uniquely in a different file?

Just a curiosity. The SNES cartridge performed better on the temperature test probably because of it's anti-fire, temperature resistant chemical component. That one is the same that when not perfectly mixed gave snes and super famicom their distinctive yellow appearance

Well, if your TV has a composite input (most of them have), you don't need to use a SCART connector at all. Although with SCART you can have a real split RGB signal, in this case the original source is already transformed into a composite signal giving no better results than the RCA jacks

Not really a dispute of computer vs console, there were many 8 bit home computers that where clearly inferior to the NES graphic and sound wise. Remember than unlike nowadays we had many different architectures around.
