I find that greenish concealers can get the job done but typically when the tint is real real subtle but also when the formula is more moisturizing (i find that with zits a creamier formula is the best way to go- you said the one you got was drier so I would never go near a zit with it throughout...

Have you tried the new Maybelline 14 hour superstay lip sticks? I found the one I have has zero staying power, though it does tend to work better if I layer, dab and repeat with the effect closer to a stain but that's really the best use I've found for it.

I really enjoy all the shimmery baked shadows and also the eyestudio and explosions from maybelline they are super pigmented and blendable and come in a wide variety of colors. I do keep to the browns and neutrals usually, but the shimmer kicks it up a notch!
