Those of the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ believe according to His word the Bible that: Man is a sinner from birth, and even though God is capable of boundless mercy that we can not comprehend, for all of the people in the world, heaven is impossible without a sacrifice. We believe that sin separates man and God both in this life, and if untreated, in the eternal realm. We believe that God sent prophets and had a temporary and imperfect system set in place so that people could be positionally forgiven, and so that we as a race could see our need for salvation, and for a savior. We believe that about 2000 years ago, a real and living human, born of a virgin and endowed with all the powers of God came and lived the perfect life that we could not live, died as a willing sacrifice for the sins of the entire world, and was brought back to life by the father (God) to prove that He was for real. We believe that He, Jesus replaced the former imperfect system, i.e. the laws, the priesthood, the temple, and sacrifices, and that He became ONCE and for ALL time, the only way to God. We believe that anyone, regardless of their race, color, past misdeeds or background may come to God and be guaranteed eternal life in heaven by simple trust and faith in Jesus. We believe that anyone who dies without having placed their faith and trust in Jesus is condemned to an eternal darkness and pain, from which there is no return. We believe that man is justified by faith alone, and is saved and allowed into heaven by faith alone, and not by any works he can do or boast of, as salvation is a free gift, and can not be merited or purchased by us. We believe in ordinances such as baptism, communion and other commandments given to believers as outward expressions of the true salvation that has taken place in the heart of the believer, and NOT as conditions of salvation.
